Ensure the bed mattress is the proper size.
The standard baby crib size procedures 51u00a05/8" by 27u00a01/4". A lot of new mattress fit in basic baby cribs. When inspecting the size, check to see if you can fit 2 fingers comfortably in between the bed mattress and the side of the crib.
